Just looking back to this lovely Morning when I went on a solo Van trip into the Pyrenees , It was warm during the day but went down to minus 15 in the night, when I woke up my Breath had welded everything to the van floor with ice forming , so it was chilly. The morning was bright and Ice had formed a layer on everything , stunning.
I tend to take the other half now on these impromptu moments as she says things like , "it might get cold "
I can't help heading off into adventure and its challenges and beauty .
I think back to wise words , " failing to prepare , is preparing to fail " But sometimes you just have to go with your heart .
